AT BURL AND TIMBER, THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE CUTTING BOARDS, CHARCUTERIE BOARDS, AND OTHER ONE-OF-A-KIND ITEMS THAT FEEL PERSONAL, MEANINGFUL, AND CREATE AN EXPIERENCE WHILE BEING DURABLE FOR EVERYDAY USE. ​
EACH BOARD IS INDIVIDUALLY HANDCRAFTED FOR SALE OR TO ORDER IN OUR WORKSHOP IN THE UNITED STATES. WE CAREFULLY SELECT THE MOST UNIQUE SLABS OF WOOD THEN ROUTE, SAND, AND FINISH WITH ONLY THE PUREST OIL AND BEESWAX. NO TWO PIECES ARE THE SAME. ALL ENGRAVING AND RELIEF CARVING IS DONE BY HAND AND NOT A CNC MACHINE.

The Craftsman
My name is Garrett, I founded Burl and Timber Woodworks in 2025. With a passion for woodworking and wellness I set out to make cutting boards and charcuterie boards with an emphasis on health, with the highest quality oils and wax I could find. I started my career in building and repairing heavy duty trucks, but whenever I had free time, I would work on building my woodshop. Now finally complete I made a few boards, projects, and carvings for friends and loved ones and now finally for anyone who wants one!
I try to find the most unique pieces of wood and craft them for functionality but also beauty, to enhance the experience wherever they may be displayed.
I specialize in mostly cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and small to medium relief carving but more projects plan to be added as time goes on!
Every piece made is designed to be a lasting heirloom that can be passed down from one generation to the next.
